"Aero Pioneer Times - Cal Rodgers Edition"
22 pages, 60+ photographs and 240+ headlines beginning August 9, 1911, follow Cal's journey from getting his license at the Chicago Grant Park International Aviation Meet all the way to Long Beach California.

Cartoonist Bud Fisher, animater of the Mutt & Jeff series drew a cartoon that was published nationwide on September 24, 1911 referencing "this unknown flyer trying for the Hearst $50,000 prize". The full comic strip referencing Cal has been captured and digitally restored and presented exactly as it was nearly 100 years ago.

The back page has a black and white reproduction of the famed poster map tracing the flight and a close to actual size picture of the Vin Fiz syrup bottle in wonderful detail. Also, glimpse into some private collections, many images not seen by the general public for over 98 years.

The Aero Pioneer Times - Cal Rodgers - Vin Fiz Edition is now available for the first time ever.
