Imagination Counts, LLC of Portsmouth, NH began after 4 years of production of the award winning Googolplex Games. During research for new board game ideas, inventor David Hallmark remembered a book he had read in 1985 about Cal Rodgers and the Vin Fiz. That book, "The Flight of the Vin Fiz" penned by author E.P. Stein served as inspiration to learn more.

Hallmark began to research more information on this forgotten American hero; Cal Rodgers, E.P. Stein and the historic soda, long forgotten, Vin Fiz. During the course of research for the new board game he discovered the Vin Fiz trademark was available for Federal Trademark protection. Securing the trademark rights to the famous logo, the doors of opportunity opened.

Talks with E.P. Stein led to a signed agreement for Imagination Counts, LLC full exclusive re-printing of his book. Remaining copies of the original hardback are available now and re-printing of the large paperback format is underway.

Meeting with a local vintage soda bottler has lead to the re-birth of the Vin Fiz Soda. Unlike the original soda that received less than complimentary reports (E.P. Stein found reporting that said it tasted like a cross between river water and horse slop) the new Historically Refreshing™ Vin Fiz™ soda has all the qualities of a top shelf soda. Made with pure cane sugar vs high fructose corn syrup, it has a very pleasant grape aftertaste, we think the new Vin Fiz is truly "Historically Refreshing"!
