t's important... Because everything else I've done before was not important" was a quote of the 1911 Vin Fiz pilot Calbraith Perry Rodgers when asked by a reporter why he was attempting to do what had not been done before, fly coast to coast across the United States.

October 1910, William Randolph Hearst offered a $50,000 cash prize to the first man to fly coast to coast in 30 days or less. 8 flyers entered the competition, 5 took to the air, one made it. After 49 grueling days, the cash prize lost and never paid, history was written by Cal Rodgers' enduring tenacity to achieve a goal he'd set out to accomplish.

So begins a new chapter of the Vin Fiz story. As we approach the Centennial Anniversary of this historic flight, Imagination Counts, LLC is undertaking Cal's sentiments and relaunching Calbraith (aka: C.P. Rodgers) and the Vin Fiz back into the publics eye. A forgotten American hero whose life and accomplishments should be heralded once again.
